On the western
part of Dobrudja’s Danube river bank, one small town is
spread out over the cliffy hill to the ancient river.
Amphiteathriacally build, the houses are “taking a look”
in the Danube waters. Tutrakan is situated in the
south-western part of Dobrudja. North of the town is the
Danube. The convenience of the town’s geography,
alongside with its historical legacy, the port and the
transportation infrastructure are the key factors, the
town of Tutrakan to be included as a significant part of
regional and international tourist routes and
destinations.
