Military Tomb is the largest military cemetery in the wars for national unification in the country.
In 1913 South Dobroudja shift within the Royal Romania. Over 2 years Tutrakan build a fortress, considered impregnable, the fortress was resolved only 33 hours after a powerful training. Fighting and artillery in the waters of the Danube destroyed nearly 8 thousand people - Romanians, Bulgarians, Turks and German.
Immediately after the battle memorial was built. In 1922 a monument was built - obelisk, preserved to this day, of which the Bulgarian, Romanian, German and Turkish languages are written the words "Honor and glory to those knew to die for their homeland".
